Katie reached out to me a few months ago about hiking up to Dream Lake and I was for it. They were waiting for her custom designed engagement ring to get finished before the shoot. It was worth the wait! Wait until you see the ring.
Matt shared with me that he had been there before and wanted to propose to Katie there.
Matt, being from the east coast, and Katie, being from the west coast, brought the two together and met in the middle to reside in Colorado.
Katie was so brave in this dress, because when the sun goes down here, it gets 15 degrees colder! She doesn't even look cold in the photos!
Some things I like to remind clients for winter sessions:
Handwarmers.
Coffee mugs/hot chocolate/tea to sip.
Blankets.
Layers. Layers. Layers.
Fleece lined leggings!
Beanies are cute.
Bring gloves for the hand warmers to go in, hands are the first thing to freeze.
Wear the boots, they are cute.
